I discovered R.E.M. when I went to study informatics in Enschede in 1986. The first album I bought in the local record store was Lifes Rich Pageant, which got me immediately hooked. My older brother at some point had Document, but his entire collection has vanished somewhere.
I collected many other R.E.M. albums over the years, but this one was still missing. For the past half year I’ve been going through the 2nd hand bins at Happy Tunes Records in Gorinchem, and finally this week it was there (next to a bunch of other albums that I already own). As usual it’s in pristine condition.
