Good metadata is key when you have a local library of music files. Rigelian Tag Editor is a modern macOS native app, from the author of the popular mpd music client Rigelian.
The focus of the first version is to allow editing of all main id3 tags, with extensive support for cover art.
Supported file formats are mp3, flac, aiff, aac/m4a and wav.
Future extensions will include integration of internet sources to collect missing data, additional tools to keep data consistent. This will primarily be driven by requests from the user community.
Rigelian Tag Editor will be available for an introduction price of $3.99 / €3.99 until July 31st 2022, after that it will be priced at $7.99 / €7.99.
